Okan is available in modest quantities in the forests of Precious Woods, located in the Congo Basin of Gabon. The tree has a straight and cylindrical trunk and reaches up to 40 – 50 m with a diameter till about 1.5 m (max 3 m). Very durable. Thanks to its durability, Okan is used in all kind of hydraulic constructions, like bridges, decking's, sheet pilings, jetties, sound barriers, stables and piles.
